The Niemeyer Centre is a spectacular architectural complex designed by Oscar Niemeyer that looks out over the estuary.

Opened in spring 2011, this complex is a symbol of the modern and booming Asturias of the future and it is meant to be the centrepiece of a larger development- the Island of Innovation.

The complex is made up of five independent, yet complementary elements:

The Auditorium

The Central Square

The Tower

The Multipurpose Building

The Dome

The Niemeyer Centre has a range of rooms and spaces suitable for a variety of business, cultural, and social events and activities.
